This is the highest quality casting latex in existence for mask making, prop making, and slush molded prosthetics. This very popular latex is used among many of the most respected special effects artists in the industry, RD-407 is a single component, air drying natural latex compound that can be brushed or poured into gypsum molds. It’s ideal for quick skin buildup, features exceptional detail reproduction, and has a super quick demold. The Monster Makers RD-407 latex can be painted with adhesive based paints or The Monster Makers latex mask paints. Yielding both a stretchy and robust rubber upon curing, RD-407 comes as a naturally viscous material. Other companies sell what they call RD-407, but this is the original formulation originally manufactured and distributed by R&D Latex Company in Commerce, California.
